There have been some cases of Influenza A H1N1 virus among students and staff in certain schools, primarily in Delhi and Maharashtra. There has been considerable speculation over the need for closure of schools to control the outbreak. This matter has been considered by the Joint Monitoring Group in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. All schools and colleges are advised to observe the following guidelines for managing cases of infection of Influenza AH1N1.

IndianEngineer

(i) Any student or staff member showing flu like symptoms such as fever, cough, running nose and difficulty in breathing should be allowed to stay at home for a period of 7 to 10 days.

(ii) Educational institutions should not insist on production of medical certificate by the student/staff.

(iii) Educational institutions should monitor the health status of such students/staff who might have come in contact with a suspected case of Influenza AH1N1 to see whether they develop flu like symptoms. In case they do so, they should be allowed to stay home, as outlined at (i) above

(iv) In case of students staying in Hostels, the educational institutions would not only monitor the health status of the students, but also that of care providers. It has to be ensured that the care providers wear face mask and wash hands regularly. It might not be advisable to send the boarders back to home, as it would spread infection further.

(v) Educational institutions are further encouraged to report such cases to local health officers for further monitoring.

(vi) Given the current magnitude of the spread of AH1N1 infection and the fact that the current virus is fairly mild, closure of educational institutions on account of any student/staff member falling ill with flu like symptoms is not recommended.

(vii) In the first place, the schools should discourage the excursions of the students to the affected countries.

(viii) In case if the students had proceeded to affected countries on unavoidable tours, then on their return, if some students show flu like symptoms of fever, sore- throat , cough , body ache, running nose, difficulty breathing etc. they should be advised to abstain from attending school and be allowed to stay at home for a period of 7 to 10 days.

Revised Guidelines for testing of persons with flu like symptoms reporting at hospitals notified for influenza H1N1

click Here to Get Free Updates By Sms.

So far, the present guidelines stipulate that a person suspected of influenza A H1N1 need to be referred to an identified govt. health facility. He/she needs to be kept in an isolation facility in that hospital and if found positive, is treated accordingly.

In order to make the testing facility for H1N1 more accessible at large and due to the onset of the Influenza season in the country, it has been decided to revise the existing guidelines.

Under the new guidelines, any person with flu like symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, cold, running nose etc. should go to a designated Government facility for giving his/her sample for testing for the H1N1 virus. After clinical assessment, the designated medical officer would decide on the need for testing. Except for cases that are severe, the patient would be allowed to go home (This was not allowed under the existing guidelines).

IndianEngineer

The sample of the suspect case would be collected and sent to the notified laboratory for testing. If tested as positive for H1N1 and in case the symptoms are mild, the patient would be informed and given the option of admission into the hospital or isolation and treatment at his own home.

In case the patient opts for home isolation and treatment, he/she would be provided with detailed guidelines / safety measures to be strictly adhered to by the entire household of the patient. He/ she would have to provide full contact details of his entire household. The house hold and social contacts would be provided with the preventive treatment.

Notwithstanding the above guidelines, the decision of the doctor of the notified hospital about admitting the patient would be final.

In case the test is negative, the patient will accordingly be informed.

These guidelines have been issued by the Government in public interest and shall be reviewed from time to time depending on the spread of the pandemic and its severity in the country. These guidelines would however not apply to passengers who are identified through screening at the points of entry. The existing policy of isolating passengers with flu like symptoms would continue.

Every Body is aware of his Rights But are you aware of you duties too , Do you even know your Fundamental Duties . If no then how the hell can you demand for your Rights if you cant perform your Duties well.

We are not against love but i dont think those who indulge in acts of kissing in public parks , Bushes or in corners of parks really love each other.

If you Support this i have no problem But you must know what you are supporting and what you are doing.

We are not saying you to stop loving your loved ones but Do that in private at your home. A public place is for all not just for you, and let me remind you one thing according to the right of freedom you have the right to express what you want but with a clause that if should not hurt the feelings of others. if it does its a crime.

and if its not a crime then i am sure you are the one who will one day rape a Girl and say you have to freedom to do what you want.

Dont you think you are misguiding urself and others by mixing it with right to freedom.

Most of my Friends who are replying to me by mail are Educated ones and trust me even more than me and you. You may be just a mere user of Modern Gadgets but They produce such things and Even they Say that we love our Culture.

We have some Moral responsibilities, some Ethics which Every one should follow , freedom does not means you will do shameless act in puplic places where there are little kids and older people.

On one Side you Say stop Child marriage on the other you Encourage Child Sex is it Justified?.

Dont you think you have some Responsibility for the young Generation? Is this that you want to give the next generation.

Please Do not forget the incidents which can be prevented in future if we act Now.

1 In Kerela 3 girls comitted Sucide after filmed nude by class mates.

2. Noida Girl became pregnent at an age of 13 years while most of the kids are in class 9 at this time.

3 Manglore Girl kills herself after being raped By boy friend.

These are the crimes just took place Recently and can be avoided in future if we stop such facts which lead people do such crime.

And if you are doing this it shows you are completely senseless and Irresponsible person who dont know his responsibilities. Every place has some Environment and you need to act according to that Environment. You Cant Go against that Environment, If you really love your country you should respect its culture and Values .

Thanks a lot for reading it please reply to this post.

The following are the Fundamental Duties prescribed by the Constitution of the nation under PART [IV-A] to its every citizen :

(d)

To defend the country and render national service when called upon to do so.

(e)

To promote harmony and the spirit of common brotherhood amongst all the people of India transcending religious, linguistic and regional or sectional diversities; to renounce practices derogatory to the dignity of women.

(f)

To value and preserve the rich heritage of our composite culture.

(g)

To protect and improve the natural environment including forests, lakes, rivers and wild life, and to have compassion for living creatures.

(j)

To strive towards excellence in all spheres of individual and collective activity so that the nation constantly rises to higher levels of endeavor and achievement.

This is to the Second opinion The power of the pink (feb 11) times of india)

The article does not recognise ground realities . The Vast majority of indian middle class feels Differently. No parent thinks that it is good for her daughter or son to be drinking.whether in public or private.

But that is Exactly what this “Consortium of pubgoing , loose and forward woman ‘ is fighting for.

The writer should focus on how BAD it is for women or men to Drink , it makes them more Vulnerable to physical Crime and abuse.

As For the claim that those sending pink underwear to pramod muthalik are women with no morals , It is Correct.

Those from Decent families are unlikely to participate in this. of course . Of course there will be an attempt to try and make it look if the whole nation is participating in the pink underwear scheme though the numbers are revealing  30000 are so in a country of over a Billion.

Taken from times of india 14th feb

lets not let any one make fun of our culture and slap such persons who dont know underwear is to wear not to protest,

PINK PROTEST “ Pink chaddi “ just a hit among media not among common man…

It all stated with a pub incident in which some people misbehaved with some girls on the name on not going to pub but the mistake they did is they just targeted the girls. But that was their mistake not some others came forward with a slogan and even some said they have the right to Drink most probably these people did not had enough education to tell them that Smoking or Drinking of any type whether in pub or in home is Harmful for you and your life, and not just for you for others also. Just two days before a drunken boy smashed his speeding car on a road side tree and died on the spot , reports published in news papers tell that he was coming from pub and was highly drunk his three friends fled from the spot , well this was just one example of drinking is Good many other cases are there which can be searched on the net if you really wanna know.

Know came our leaders who have the responsibility of providing us an healthy environment and they says women have the equal right of drinking really they are great leaders and we can say why they are saying so .

It was just opposite of what we thought , we thought that when our leaders will come they will say that not just for women this is Bad for every individual and this evil of drinking should be thrown out of our country but I think they are looking forword for a drunken youth of our country.

Oh we forgot the pink protest what is this and how it started. Okey then here is a view of it it all started with a stupid educated girl who needs physiological help.

We really admit that Mr Muthalik did a mistake by supporting the act of beating girls instead they should have done something better. But that was his mistake but that does not means you will do a bigger mistake just to take revenge .

But that happened a vary cheap thing that only mean persons can think was done collecting women and men under garments , condoms, etc was done by a very cheap group and these gifts were send to this old man .

See the shameless face of some of us educated civil society youths . this is how we treat an old man . we have no respect left nor a shame in us that’s why we chosed this way of protest .

There are many ways of protest but this way is the cheapest one and is a result of cheap mind set people .

And have a look at our media see how much responsible they are while promoting such campaigns on their channels and news. I think they forgot one thing that news is for all not just for adults. What we will answer our children who learn in school that drinking and smoking is not good but what they are watching on news is it’s the fundamental right.

Thanks a lot to all such media channels and persons who I think really make India a very great place full of drunken youths. Having sex in open, breaking marriages, increasing sucides , rapes etc .

I will just like to request all you to think once what kind of India we want to gift our children, A country which is know for its values, awaken youth, joint families, and corruption free society

Or

A drunken youth, lacking moral values and respect and responsibility

Those who agree with us can joins this group can join us now and those who don’t then go and have a peg of whiskey its not for drunken ones its for those who want a awaken India

IS IT AGAINST INDIAN CULTURE FOR WOMEN TO BE SEEN IN PUBS?

No Not just for women even for men its not Good to go in pubs “ blogger”

We are not against women but we are also against those who drink , drinking is never a Good thing for your health and others so please quit drinking from today and live a longer and happier life .

Definitely , the newly introduced westernized “Pub Culture “ is against our glorious

Tradition, culture and morality, We have ourselves to protect and preserve our culture and tradition and introduction of any foreign systems should be avoided

BY

S B VATS

Yes , but men to be in pubs are also not a part of Indian Culture. When Indian Culturel values and ancient wisdoms are universally accepted and acknowledged because of their

Positive sides and good impacts on human life we are ignoring our own traditions and cultural values and adopring only the negative side of the western culture.

BY

KOTTAKKAL KRISHNAN.

IT depends upon the individuals as per our fundamental rights, If people realy want to do something for the country the should visit slums, poors and other areas to help them.

By

RAVI K SURI

IT is totally undesirable more for females who are supposed to be homemakers. With the change of outlook, more females are coming out of homes. Infact it is a good sign to remove gender bias and to ensure overall prosperity. They are entitled to enjoy life in whatever way they feel comfortable but in a decent way. However the enjoyment should not lead to social evils.

By

RAJ BAGRI

YES women should not be allowed in pubs , India known for its heritage culture. Women are given a Respectable position in the society. In such a circumstance women should not go to pubs voluntarily , but because of modernization youths are being attracted towards the pub culture or I say towards what is negative in western culture. So it’s the duty of each and every Indian to save the Indian culture by not allowing them into bubs.
